Winners of the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s 2015 Administrative Improvement Awards were recognized June 8 at a ceremony at Union South. Provost Sarah Mangelsdorf and Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration Darrell Bazzell presented the awards to three teams and one individual for their excellence in administrative roles supporting student services, research, academics, outreach or administration.
Mangelsdorf said the efforts of the award winners led to both immediate and sustained administrative improvements. “You exemplify what can be accomplished through innovative thinking and a commitment to continuous improvement,” she said. Bazzell praised the work of the award winners and said the Administrative Improvement Awards program is instilling a culture of continuous administrative and process improvement and collaboration across the campus.
