The Office of Finance and Administration is pleased to announce that 12 computer kiosk locations are now available across campus (map). This project shows the importance of shared governance in advocating for changes that improve the work experience for members of our campus community.
These kiosks provide computer access for all employees with a NetID who do not have access to general computing resources for things such as MyUW, email, and other computer/internet-based activities related to their job duties. All kiosks have instructions for logging in and using the computers. Instructions are available in English, Spanish, Hmong, Tibetan, Chinese, and Nepali. All computers include Microsoft Office programs.
Security features include a forced logoff after 30 minutes of no use, and the computer will delete profiles that are older than 30 days. This will help protect our employees and the work they do on these computers. More information can be found at FP&M Shared Access Computer Kiosks.
I want to thank the employees from Facilities Planning & Management, DoIT, and the Second and Third Shift Issues Committee who worked on this project. This would not have been possible without them.

Vice Chancellor for Finance & Administration
